The guy who played Kramer recently used the N word on stage when heckled by afro-american audience members. What do you think should be done about this, if anything?

I don't think they should do anything to him. I saw the video. He killed his own career and he has a video to remember the occassion. I'm just glad he showed his true colors so I can keep my money out of his pocket.

I think his comments were absolutely disgusting. The n-word has very negative connotations. If everyone knew the historical meaning behind the word, I think it would offend everyone. I don't think his comments were bound by free speech. There are exceptions to every rule. No one should be put down by another - period. It's no different than children being teased by other kids. Words DO hurt. I think Michael Richards, in the heat of the moment, revealed what his thoughts REALLY are. No one could possibly convince me that the came up with those comments off the top of his head because he was angry. He's supposed to to be a professional comedian and should, after years in the business, be able to effectively handle hecklers in the audience. In no way am I defending the hecklers either. If they were not satisfied with his stand up routine, they could have simply left without saying a word. I think both sides were wrong in the way they handled the entire situation. And for some audience members to sit there and chuckle at Michael's comments was even more upsetting. Michael's comments, in my opinion, were NOT acceptable. And those who are okay with what he said are even more disgusting than he is.

He was very wrong for what he said. And it should not have been carried that far. But, I also believe that the audience member that was heckling should have been thrown out before it got to that point AND his response to Michael Richards was just as bad as Michael Richards. He (the audience memeber) was throwing racial slurs right back at him. So I think they should BOTH be apologizing.

Sure, it offended SOME people who were there, not all! I think what I would most be mad at is that I paid big bucks to see a show at the famous Laugh Factory, and it got ruined. I don't think the club should apologize either, like some "groups" are demanding. They should just give people a refund, raincheck, free ticket, or something. Mr. Richards is a grown man who's responsible for his actions. If he's sorry, then you could either accept it or you could not.

I LOVED Michael as Kramer on Seinfeld. However his behavior has ruined it for me. I will always think of him as a racist now. You can't turn time around and erase what was said. He is going to branded as a racist, and for good reason!

I loved Michael Richards on "Seinfeld," but I think this is going to brand him as a racist forever. Did he lose his mind or what? I hear he is supposed to be on Letterman tonight. I wonder if this will be addressed or completely ignored. Very sad. If you can't stand hecklers, you shouldn't be a comedian.

it style of feels that each and every person heard Richards say the N-word, yet no one heard what he became asserting with reference to the know-how. in certainty, he became decrying that folk, incredibly black human beings, might supply such ability to the know-how as to reason riots. apparently, it continues to be real on the instant. as a replace of being praised for his certainty, that this word has an prolonged-lasting ability, he became compelled to ask for forgiveness for employing it.
