I actually used to be a financial planner in which most of my time was serving as an investment broker. I found it to be very lucrative... the money as a broker can be excellent if you are determined to succeed and can handle "no" and tons of rejection. Although I retired from the brokerage business, I went into another career, although not well-paid but well-loved: teaching.

Sommelier. I enjoy wine and learning about it. Being a sommelier would be interesting for those reasons alone. Plus, it beats a regular old desk job.

There are good paying jobs in the field; It very interesting if you are into math.; It is good working with the public. In this field it can be just as good as you make it; there is always advancement opportunities.
