Well it goes to show, that you really have to be careful what you say especially in the eyes of the public. But you know what? I say apologize, and move on. I've been called the "N" word countless of times. Makes me angry? Yes. But you know what? I actually feel sorry for the people that make racial slurs. It's like on a deep level, there is something really wrong with them. Any thoughts?

I feel like this....if certain individuals in the audience did not think that the guy on the stage was funny all they had to do was leave ...simple as that ! Don't waste their money buying tickets to see that particular performer again ....or wait til someone that they like better comes on stage and enjoy their performance. Heckling was not called for. This jacka sses reaction to the heckling also wasn't called for.....in the end he ended up looking worse than the people who started the disturbance in the first place. People need to really learn how to control their emotions...easier said than done ...I know ...but is very necessary sometimes. In this guys line of work ...he won't be touched again .....and simply fade away. All of the apologies in the world won't be able to clean up all of the hate and ignorance that was displayed that night.....we live in a melting pot.....when will people get it ??????

Michael Richards might have been having some fun with a predominantly white audience. Sure, he was angry, and I suppose he is a racist. He will surely apologize again. Is there anything wrong with Kramer? I doubt it. He is a rich celebrity and we caught him out pushing the envelope of good taste and normal sensibilities.

there is definitely something wrong with anyone that makes racial slurs, especially when they make them when they are angry. people tend to let their true feelings come out when they are upset. i just wonder if the bigotry will ever go away.....

I think it is always gonna happen in one way or another. There is no sense getting upset about it. No one can make you angry unless you choose to let them so just don't let people push your buttons.

people should grow the hell up.

ok... it doesn't matter anymore... if we can't take a few punches.. then maybe it's best we mushroom cloud up this mofoker of a planet..

don't you agree?

i can't understand it.. we tolerate bush's b.s. but we can't hamper our emotional disorders with mel gibson and kramer dude?

forget it.. we want to be drama queens.

I doubt anyone will hire Michael Richards after this little stunt *unless* he apolgizes! (Perhaps some will not even if he does.)

I agree that racists are deeply disturbed.
