empty or full basically when fire trucks carry there water in a reserve tank for quick fires they hold 500 gallons at 8 pounds per 1 gallon that is 4000lbs right there then add at least 6 firefighters at roughly 200lbs a piece there is another 1200 lbs not to mention hoses, supplies, gear add another 1000lbs for that then the weight of the truck is roughly 10,000 lbs 16,200lbs roughly oh yeah the dog 30lbs 16,230lbs

Has anyone got any idea what a ladder and turntable fire engine would weigh without the aforementioned ladder and turntable. I am looking at downgrading a Dennis fire engine for a recovery beaver tail truck and and the need the stripped down weights to calculate the finished trucks weight. The wheels and suspension will downgraded as well to get it down to a 7.5ton, but I will need the vehicles weight if possible, and help and feedback will be useful.
Cheers in advance

It depends on the truck and setup but on average a fully loaded Engine of a new model year such as our 2013 Spartan ERV pumpers have a gross vehicle weight of around 35k lbs fully loaded. Ladder trucks will weigh even more depending if it's a tower ladder, quint (no bucket) etc. So moral of the story is don't pull out in front of one because you will not win that fight.

Try eating a little more healthy. Fruits and vegetables are pretty much your best friends when if comes to losing weight. Eating more fish helps too. No junk food. No McDonalds or Burger King. And when you eat bread, eat whole grain. Do houseworks whenever you can and walk to work to lose more calories. Read more:

There are many types and sizes of firetrucks. The weight depends on the type and whether it is full of equipment and water. There are many light weight trucks for field use and many heavy ones needed to carry the special equipment.

Don't eat second helpings, leave off the sweets, and cut back on your carbohydrates. That is, leave off your potatoes and cut way back on bread. Get plenty of exercise. Try not to snack unless it is fruits and vegetables. Leave off your unhealthy snack especially at night before bedtime.
