I read some of his books when I was little and I especially remember The Ugly Duckling cause of its tendernes and the beautiful ending it has. I really like him as a writer though I dont know much abot him.

Good author, when I was little I read the little mermaid and it haunted me. It was a children's story but did not have a happy ending the way Disney's movie did. I still remember the story because of the sadness it instilled in me.
