I have a Ten gallon tank and have a sucker fish , 3 austrialian rainbow fish, a black skirt tetra, and two redish orange tetras ... which i know are all compatible fish and they all school together since most of them are schooling fish . But i have a five gallon and i have darf gaurami , a tourquise gaurami , a silver with black spotted catfish and a great diano, my question is if i got a 30 gallon tank am i able to put all my fish in one tank so that i could use my 10 gallon tank for chilids or goldfish ?

The black spotted silver catfish sounds like a pictus catfish and they get 8 inches and will eat small fish, giant danios get like 6 inches and need to be in groups of 3-5, right now your 5 gallon is overstocked. I would get them all moved upto the 30 gallon asap.

However the 10 gallon is too small for goldfish. Adult goldfish need 50 gallons per fish since they grow to be 12-14 inches.

And the only cichlids that would be ok in a 10 gallon are bolivian rams or shell dwellers (small cichlid from lake tanganika)

Yes, you can put your fish that you currently have into one tank safely.

Not sure about cichlids doing well in a 10 gallon tank tho. They are a territorial fish and tend to need a fair amount of space. You might get away with maybe a male and female (same kind), but I wouldn't put a lot of cichlids into a 10 gallon tank as it's not really enough room. I used to keep mine in a 29 gallon tank and a 55 gallon. Kept about 10 in the 29 and 20 in the 55.

The 30 would be fine for those fish. The 10 is to small for most Chilids and would only hold one, maybe two gold fish.
