How do I remove the mold from the light wood furniture??

mix some bleach about a quater cup to a gallon of water- wear some old clothes and go at it rinses and repeat - not on the cloth though!

Inquire with a carpentor - -I suspect that a cleanser is available. You might also explore using a simple ajax pad with warm water.
