I need to know what is the requirements about hair length. My hair is not in my eyes, but my coach still says that it is too long. My hair in the back does not even touch my shirt. I think he may be just telling me to get my hair cut, because he does not like it. He said it is not a clean cut. I am going with the shaggy look, but it is not long. It only goes to my ears. Is he making up these false requirements.

The Regulation Rule Book: says Your bangs cannot go past your eyes, and your hair can't go to your shoulders. Also you cant have any facial hair. From what you have said your hair should be fine to wrestle with but if your coach really wants you to you should or your gonna be sore at practice if theres a grudge between you. ok hope my answer helped.

I'm not a coach. I'm a wrestling mom. I'm not sure on the regulations but there are guys on their team with long hair. After a certain lenght they are required to wear a hair slicker under their head gear to keep it out of the way.
