I sold something on ebay. The buyer has only purchased something about 5 years ago (and got good feedback). The shipping address is to some company's in new york, I'm assuming his office. He sent me the payment via paypal, but the shipping address says it's unconfirmed.

This sounds fishy... is there a way I can get screwed here? The thing I'm selling is worth about $300.

if your listing didnt say no confirmed addresses, he might give you a neg if you dont ship. However, you can refund his money and require a confirmed address. That still wont make it completely secure... Any paypal payment can be reversed at any time for various reasons. Paypal is not that secure of a payment system.
If you ship it with signature confirmation and insurance you might be okay. However, if you want to be better protected, you should require a confirmed address. however since its an office address, it probably wont be able to get confirmed as confirmed addresses are usually where your credit card statements are sent.

you are able to sell as plenty or as little on Ebay as you like. some human beings do Ebay as a business enterprise and to others, it extremely is just one thing relaxing to do and tehy sell some issues right here and there. study each little thing you are able to on the region nonetheless in the past you initiate merchandising. you should be attentive to what you're doing, or a minimum of have a clue, in the past you initiate merchandising. I disagree with the respond above me....you will get extra bids with paypal than without. there are various clientele who will only bid if paypal is customary (me for one). have confidence me, you will get extra bids with paypal than without.
