If you have room, get a desktop. You'll have more power and more memory in general, plus it won't fry if you drop some crumbs on it.

It really depends on what you NEED to do with and and what you WANT to do with it. If you only NEED it for work, school assignments and the like, then you do not need all the bells and whistles being pitched these days, such as expensive video cards, dual core processors, etc. You can get a basic workhorse laptop that should get you 3-4 years of undergard work for under $400 from any major manufacturer. All you really need is 512 MB RAM and a 60 GB hard drive, all the other stuff is for people who want to also use the laptop for entertainment (you can store plenty of music and digital photos on 60GB). Spend the other $1000 on an extended warranty, upgrade to Windows XP pro (better for wireless networking), a gig of RAM and a desktop LCD and docking station for working at a desktop. As for brand, they're all about the same as far as parts go, so check out who's got the best tech support and help. HP tech support has improved dramatically. Check out Consumer Report.org.

the thought 9/11 became into the artwork of non secular fundamentalists understanding of Afganistan with the political objective of forcing usa out of the middle East is supported by the proponderance of information, the two phsyical and eyewitness. No different concept is supported by the information, so... Which begs the question, the place is that this information of an interior activity? I easily have yet to stumble upon all of us who made this manner of declare who had information that could no longer be completely refuted in a count number of minutes. no longer as quickly as. The "interior activity" theories (of which there are approximately 50 and that they are in a position to no longer all be precise) are in fact fairly ordinary to refute to all of us with even reasonable cognitive skills that it is not even exciting anymore. I subject to you the comparable project than I do all "truthers". in the adventure that your information is so convincing, convey it right into a court of regulation.
