Hi All - I turned my dishwasher on and it was running for a couple of minutes and then just stopped. Now it won't start up again. Has anyone had this happen? How do it fix it without calling for repair?

Thanks in advance for your help!

It's a GE.

I checked the breaker and the switches were not labeled. I guess I'll call for help tomorrow. Thanks.

After you check the electrical connections, the breakers if it just stopped, just like that sounds electrical. The switch may have gone out also. This is something, whether you like it or not, have to call in someone. What's the brand? I'm asking because if it's a Sears call a Sears guy in, etc. There's no real way to check it out yourself.

check your circuit breaker box,, it flipped a breaker,,, sounds like it was put on a circuit with something else,, you will have to see what else is on the same sircuit and not use it when washing dishes or have someone rewire one of them!!
