Give a reason for your opinion please. I believe all people should possess certain basic rights. I believe that marriage is a basic right. Therefore I believe gays/lesbians should not be denied the right to marriage.

Of course. In the case of Loving vs. Virginia, the US Supreme Court declared marriage a fundamental human right.

That's why the conservatives are sweating bullets over a constitution amendment to ban gay marriage. If it gets to the supreme court, I doubt there will be much of a contest to stop gay marriage.

Absolutely not! Unless they are a heterosexual couple of opposite genders they cannot marry. What is so hard to understand about that. There is no basic entitlement here since they do not meet the prerequisite criteria. They can have a civil union or whatever they want to call it, except marriage, they can have access to all the same benefits and troubles if they want...those are rights...but they have no right to the definition of marriage.

Yes I think all people should have the option to be married. Who is the government to say they can't and what happened to the separation of church and state.

Yes, whether civil or religious unions whichever suits the couple.
I would suggest that legal details be settled ,wills, power of attorney etc to solve problems that may arise.

GLBT's should be allowed to marry because marriage is a human right, not a heterosexual privilege.

Society has to draw a line somewhere. Marriage is a stablizing force in America. I don't have a problem with civic unions.

absolutely, i agree with ur reasons. wat makes it "wrong" to b gay/lez/bi? who says that anyone has the right to deny them marriage becuz they r different? wat if gays and lesbians ruled the world, would they deny straight people marriage? if they did then it wouldnt b right either. it is their business and straight people hav no right to tell them that "its not right" or "its not normal" becuz how does it affect them? it doesnt harm them so y should they judge? i say shoot all the people who cant accept others choices, including my own dad.
