the question isn't who is #1 that has been answered clearly. Its Ohio State.
The question is who is #2
Michigan or USC should be.
Ig USC wins out then it is them. If not its Michigan.
Why not Notre Dame you ask? try a 26 point loss at home to Michigan.
Why not Arkansas? a 36 point loss at home to USC
Why not Florida? too weak. They barely beat Vandy and S Carolina, plus they lost ot 2 loss Auburn and will lose to Arkansas. Clearly the #1 is Ohio State.
#2 is down to 2.

As for Mr. Acefra I think you forgot that USC lost to an unranked team. They should be ranked at about #12 or so.
