Even though he has had a few bad outings, I think throwing a rookie in there would be even worse. Let Chad finish the season (assuming he doesn't get hurt), then let the exhibition season next year be open competition. I think Chad is a serviceable enough quarterback to lead this team until we are ready to contend.

Besides, before the season started, did you think the Jets would be .500 after 10 games? Chad and Mangini and indeed the entire Jets staff are doing a fine job this year.

Uh, right now the Jets are playing near-playoff caliber football. Benching Pennington for Clemens would be suicidal. All of those growing pains and considering Clemens is a risky (Rexy) style QB, and you'll see many INTs. Plus, he was facing the Bears wasn't he?

nope chad has been doing a good job and the bears d is the best in the league... until chad gets hurt clemens shouldnt get a chance
