He was being heckled at a comedy club by two black guys and it's not clear if they were racist towards him. Kramer responded to the hecklers by going on and on attacking them verbally and saying a large number of racist words. Did he just lose it and say the wrong things or do you feel he really is racist?

If the two guys started calling him a "cracker", (which they did) why should he watch what he says? Racism goes both ways! He probably could've responded in a different way, but he spoke his mind without being "politically correct". It's called freedom of speech and everyone should have it, not just certain people.

of course he's a racist i dint care high or not hes racist because if he was in fact high they say u do and say stuff u really want to do when u are intoxicated. It wasn't even the fact he used the n word that scratched the surface it was the material he used after the fact. the hecklers didn't insult him they thought his material wasn't funny. blacks are like that at any comedy club especially predominantly black comedy clubs. Were like a group of Simons we will tell u if u suck. i would rather be honest to someone then tell them a lie of how great they were on stage. No one was laughing.

Many people are racist even though they may take offense to other people using derogatory remarks about another ethnic group.
I think racists are very confused individuals. They choose a group or a few groups to despise, yet find very little fault in themselves. They tend to cover up their true feelings by jumping on bandwagons, supporting causes verbally that they wouldn't physically or monetarily, and their inner "truth" almost always comes out. Kramer was just pushing the hate to the audience that he has been consuming for years. Look at Mel. When we don't want to look at ourselves and our own faults, when we want to point the finger, when we want to grab a scapgoat and cut its throat, we look to those we think caused our seemingly pathetic existance. Funny, on this list, there is a female by the name of puchis_uh that says she thinks it is uncalled for, yet if you see her one of her answers to another question, she makes a degrading remark towards immigrants and african americans.

They told him he wasn't funny, he responded with racist remarks that were uncalled for. I liked him as Kramer on Seinfeld, but that guy is a hidden racist.

If he wasn't, he could have insulted them back without the racial slurs because they were not needed to insult them.. he said that to hurt them. He's a smart man, I'm sure he knew that calling people that word would make it all over the news.. so it's obvious that he lost it and let his true feelings show.

I think he screwed up and all these PC people are making a big fuss over it. Don't like it ...don't listen. They called him a cracker-*** (listen to the tape) but I'm not gonna secede from the union over it. Where would Richard Pryor be without the "N" word, or Mencia without the '*******' jokes. Many black comedians make fun of white people....I don't think they should apoligize. I know it's not exactly the same but either we have freedom of speach or we don't. The double standards and the political correctness is killing America. Why can't we be Americans....without a Mexican or an Afro in front of it?

What I find amazing is that this is news. An out of work D list actor calls some people ******* in a comedy club and it makes the evening news. I have seen about a dozen reports on it and even on CNN. Why should we care what he says or does? He's a has been who hasn't been on TV in 6 years since his show tanked.

It is very easy to do/say things out of character when you are angry. I don't think he is a racist. I think he was frustrated, and decided to fire back toward the two gentlemen in a way he thought would hurt them most.

I think he is racist. I can understand why heckling would make you mad, but why would one even care about the race of the hecklers unless one had bad feelings towards that race? I am so sad to see this. I loved Seinfeld, and I think this has ruined it for me, which is really sad, because it's not Seinfeld's fault.
