I know that at Auschwitz there was a list of how many Jews from each country in Europe that were to be exterminated.

Prior to the discussions about the "final solution of the Jewish question" in Wannsee Conference, the Nazis made a list called "Wannsee List" of all the Jews in Europe by their countries, as the main idea is to exterminate all of them and "clean" Europe from Jews.

This list estimated that there are 4,000 Jews in Ireland

That was while they were doing it. So called Nazi efficiency is a myth. Also, they won the Reichstag seats and the Chancellor's spot by a very narrow margin. Alright? Everything was approached with generalities. Hitler would be up all night and sleep out most of the morning and early afternoon. Not the most conventional of administrations. Ireland was not occupied by the Nazis so Jews were not
put into concentration camps nor exterminated.

I don't think there have ever been 6.1 Irish Jews in existence all total.

we read about his in school and it was around 6.7 million irish jews were planned to be killed
