NO! absolutely not. the definition of losing ones virginity is to have sexual intercourse. a tampon can break the hymen (piece of skin covering the vaginal opening) but this is not virginity. the hymen can be broken many ways, tampons, falling, riding bikes, fingers, sex, accidents, or just time some girls don't have one or some girls stretch out over time. some one lacking a hymen is not necessarily a non virgin.

No of coarse not! Dont worry. It is only cosidered to lose you verginity of you break the hymen by a male's genital organ. Although this is a debatable topic most people lean towards the idea of it being more of an emotional thing. You will be a virgin forever no matter how many times you have had sex. As long as you have accepted it then you are no longer a vergin.

You can tear the hymen with a tampon. Whether this is the same as losing one's "virginity" is debatable. Most people think of losing one's virginity as the first intercourse.

You can only lose your virginity by having sexual intercourse.
You can break your hymen by using a tampon but you can also do that by exercising, bike riding etc.
Breaking your hymen is something that can happen when a girl loses her viriginity, but just because the hymen is broken doesn't mean that she is no longer a virgin.

You only lose your virginity when a penis enters your vagina. However, you can have your hymen broken by a tampon. It will look like you've had sex to any gynecologist, but they know this can happen and will believe you when you say that you are not sexually active.

No. Your virginity is a state of mind. You can tear your hymen, but that's not the only thing that makes a woman a virgin.

you can tear the hyman with a tampon... yes it is unlikely but you can... you can also rip the hyman by being fingered so.. a lot of people consider losing your virginity as a penis but they obviously dont know what makes a virgin a virgin...

Absolutely not. However, it may break your hymen which upon a gynecological exam will look like to a Dr. that you are not a virgin. You are still a virgin until a penis actually penetrates you though.

What brand is it? Because I've never seen anything like that on a tampon box panphlet in my entire life. You don't have to tear your hymen to get a tampon in.Loss of a hymen does not equate to loss of virginity. And virginity has nothing to do with TSS. So I'm quite curious about the actual wording of the pamphlet you read. Is it available online?
