I have tried and tried. The link to burn is never highlighted. I have installed the iTunes program on several computers (4) and the burn option isn't on either one. I can't figure it out. Please help.

if you have the latest version of itunes, then you certainly have the capability to create a CD. (if not, go to the help menu and find the latest version)
in order to burn a cd, you first have to create a playlist. (do that under the file menu). after creating it, find songs on your library and drag the songs to your playlist. after you have compiled enough songs (the cds can usually hold 80 minutes) then there should be an icon at the bottom that says "burn." click on that and it should take about 10 minutes

hold this helps

First (and most obvious) question is - do you have a CD burner? This may seem obvious, but CD-ROM DRIVES will not BURN CDs. If you have a CD burner, you may have to install a plug-in to get it to work with iTunes.

Also, have you chosen songs to burn? If there are no songs check marked, it doesn't know what to burn.

You may have chosen too many songs. CDs only hold so much info and if you have too many songs chosen, it will usually give you an error (at the bottom of the iTunes screen).
