I paid thousands $$. Here are my issues.
1. the 1/8" to 1/4" (it varies!!) of caulk between the countertop slabs, backsplash pieces. Totally ruin the look! In the showroom the seams were difficult to see..
2. I thought granite is a durable material. Yet he said to never put a lot of weight on the front of the sink area or lean on it & that granite is naturally weaked by fissures!
3. I can see & feel a crack At the back of the undermount st. steel sink & 2 spots, 1" diameter, are "rough" and dull.
4. one back corner of the counter is higher than the front & is NOT level at all. I checked with a level and the bubble is all the way up.
5. They took a door frame loose where it was in the way of the counter's edge & left it hanging there...they never mentioned it at all!
6. Tops edges of backsplash is not a shiny as rest
7. There is a 1/4" chunk out of one front corner

You got a terrible install from the sounds of it. I would be talking to the company that you had install it. If they don't think that it is bad{and they probably had their install crew do it}, I would be mad as all get out. Insist that a real person in the business looks at it, take pictures, and start the complaints rolling, all the way to court if necessary. And don't forget to call the BBB.
