i already have internet on my reg. pc but i want it an my laptop w/ out paying for a whole new plan
can i some how get it from my pc to my laptop?

wirelessly without paying for the extra service at home? The only way is to buy the expensive wireless card, one that has wide range and typically runs about $79 or so in stores, and if you're lucky, that card can pull up somebody's wireless service within your neighborhood. But keep in mind, that is generally not legal to tap into somebody's network.

If you have dial-up or DSL at home for your pc, you need that cable to plug into the ethernet or modem port of your laptop to get connected, but of course, that is wire and not wireless :-)

Plug your ethernet cable into your laptop or if your laptop has a wireless chip use a router.

get a internet card go to www.linksys.com but if it is old you might consider not doing it.
