They're taking forever to get bigger, I have two bule ones. I'd rather have plain clear ones, but they're cool bule I guess.

(they feed them food coloring or dye, before the sell em' to the fish store) It didn't sound cruel so I bought em'.

General: A peaceful slow moving fish that is suitable for most community tanks.

Compatibility/Behavior: Suitable with other small peaceful fish such as neons, moons, swords. Not with Tiger barbs, etc.

Tank Conditions: standard conditions with hiding spots.

Feeding: standard foods twice a day.

Longevity: Average life-span is 3-4 years.

Glassfishes takes time to grow. You cannot help but to wait. One option is to give them frozen blood-worm diet. It generally speeds up the growth process of all types of fishes.

some can grow like there's no tomorrow while others can take years.my wife raises fish for the pet stores in our area and some of her's take up to 15-20 years to reach full length,while sometimes the same type might reach it's full size in a matter of months.she had two bala's born same day,one of them has grown 7 1/2 inches while the other is still only 3 inches.

I give........ how long? We have had 3 in the bathroom window and they haven't grown an inch in the past year. I really want the blue to grow so I can put it in the pond.
