Or stores I should go to? I live in Los Angeles so there are plenty of places to shop. I put off buyin gclothes because I wanted to loose weight, and now I have hardly nothing to wear.

You need good, fashionable footwear, classic jeans, trousers and never forget classic fitted white cotton (stretch blend will do)shirts. Also try a couple of pencil skirts. At 5'8'', you will be stunning in these with high-heeled boots.
Clearly, it is going to depend on you economical status. Start with The Gap, Banana Republic and Ann Taylor. Even tho I am a girl, I dont get it...is a size 11 in women's big or small? And leggings are always in with red high heels.
A warm white or tan winter puffy jacket is in and wear a red or blue scarf around your neck with a pair of heels.
Flats and jeans are always in style and a little french hat you can buy at Wal-mart or Target.

Pointy toed shoes!!!! Lots, in different colors, with heels of course. The pointy toe will enlongate the appearance of your leg if you wear them with pants similar in color. Buy some great "all-around" jewelry, too, like a chunky silver necklace or a nice watch. Buy quality, and buy for the long run, not just with the trends, you'll be happier for it. Most of all, take an honest person with you (make sure they have some fashion sense) and have fun!

I'm from Arizona so the fashions may be different here...... but, where I live the must-haves are: longer skirts it autumn colors, long-sleeved and short-sleeved henlys, lacy camis,a nice pair of flare legged jeans, a cute denim mini skirt and maybe a denim jacket. Don't forget havaianas. Also, don't forget leggings!!
