Can someone tell me the differences between respiration and photosynthesis?

All these question are from my homework. Which of the two (cellular respiration and photosynthesis) answers each question? Please help!!!

To Drummerboy - for one, you bastard, I already have some the answers but I was wanting another's opinion because I wasn't 100% sure. I'm not a Biology major and most of what I'm reading doesn't make much sense but I do understand some of it.

Photosynthesis is the process that all green plants use to convert water and nutrients with the aid of chlorophyll
and energy from sunlight into food(glucose).
respiration is only part of the process that allows all living things(including plants) to produce energy via andosine triphosphate breakdown to grow, move and reproduce. respiration is the process of transporting air(oxygen)into the body to allow breakdown of food into energy and waste products
girl, you need more confidence in yourself.
i don't have a major in biology, infact i only have what you call high school education.

ps, algae is a plant, it may be single celled , but still a plant.

photosynthesis: carbon dioxide + water through light yields glucose + oxygen

respiration is obviously carried out by animals
photosynthesis by plants
