our family has many, many old vhs tapes made throughout the years. we want to transfer these to dvds. can someone help with regards to manufacturer and pitfalls? thanks

I have a liteon dvd recorder it only cost me 90 bucks from bestbuy and it can record all formats so I would suggest this one since they all do the same thing just that it's cheaper than the others.
