I'm in the third month of pregnancy with quads... can me and my husband still have sex? We don't want to hurt anything. Are there any guidelines?

Sex will not be an issue, but if you're still unsure, ask your doctor or read "What to expect when expecting". It'll answer alot of your questions.

This is really a question for your doctor. However, generally sex during pregnancy is fine as long as the pregnancy is progressing normally. Women carrying multiples tend to be put on restrictions, sometimes very early in the pregnancy, due to the risk of pre-term labor.

Generally, it's ok to have sex throughout pregnancy, but since you're having quads, you might want to ask you doctor for a second opinion. I know that there are definitely cases where it's not ok to have sex during pregnancy.

Wow..congratulations..to you both.!!! If the sex doesnt hurt or feel uncomfortable then there shouldnt be any problems...if you wanna check for guidelines on this....ask the midwife over the phone or doctor. or check on the internet. But most of all.....get as much sex in as possible..your hands are gonna be full shortly.

The rule is as long as a doctor has not told you no for any reason ...it should be safe. However...I am not sure if quads put you at higher risk or not...so I would say to be safe...just give your doc a call and ask.

unless your OB says its a nono then have fun! ive heard that couples who maintain an active sex life during pregnancy have an easier time with labor and such! good luck and congrats on quads

i have never had a mulitple birth but for single pregnancys it is safe to have safe the whole 40 weeks until your water breaks
you may want to ask you doc since you have more than one babe but i would say sure if you are comfortable with having sex still goodluck and congrats

of course! you can have sex until your doctor tells you not to...and unless you have a condition which calls for it, you can have sex until you go in labor!

as long as the doctor seen no problems he would have told you if he thought you should not be.
