why r some ppl afraid to admit that they are virgins??

i mean how come ppl will brag about how much pppl they slept w/ and "ohh i did this " " i did that " but ppl are reluctant to admit that they are virgins..when i see that its better to be different and admit that u have morals and u respect urself and have some self control

cause people are dumb. Being a virgin is a good thing assuming one is not married. And it's better to have good morals than not to. I wasn't afraid of people knowing I was a virgin before I got married. However now that I am married, good morals mean I have to shut up now. ;)

BTW for those who like to brag about "ohh I did this, " or "I did that," They really don't realize how tacky that is otherwise they would not do it. I mean to do it is one thing, but to brag is quite another.

because they see the social "norm" as being raunchy and sexually active. perhaps they are afraid that their values will be trampled and they will be treated badly because of them instead of respected. it is very sad.

but the thing is, just because one is not a virgin does not mean that he or she does not have self control or morals or does not respect themselves. remember, because you believe a certain way and hold yourself to a set of values does not mean that others whose values differ from yours are any less virtuous.

i was proud to announce i was a virgin, so yeah.

Because people who are virgins are looked at as pudes and people think that maybe they have something wrong with them. Espescially the older you get. That could be a reason.
