just to cross in the 12 mile zone most of the time you won't be ask by Mex. authority's, you need current dl insurance for Mexico registration title to go to interior all of the above plus a credit card for the bond when you are issued tourist card and auto permit most US auto insurance is no good as soon as you enter Mexico Oh! after Jan. 7 th 07 must have passport

something that says ur a US citizen. D.L, birth certificate, passport. things like that. so they dont try and screw you over when you go back over. but to get to the boarder..nothing..they just let u go over
