That's just some testing that's been going on. It's a bunch of data and is inconclusive. There are variables that are being left out, such as testing people from other nations. There are other things that affect intelligence besides genetics. Then, of course, one has to take under consideration that IQ tests are not fool-proof or exact. Some people (especially the intelligent ones) choke during standardized tests. Also note that these studies have only been done in the US. That leaves out many important variables.

I don't understand why people think intelligence is an asset or makes a person superior, anyway. I've noticed that in most job fields, the dumber a person is, the higher up on the totem pole they are.

I guess people just look for any reason to invalidate a person based on skin color or other differences. It's not right and you're correct--it never will be.

They don't really measure intelligence, they just measure how well you can score on an IQ test.

Ok, honestly, there is no way anyone can defend the white race. Not because it'd make that person look like a racist, but that person would be defending a race with hundreds and hundreds of years of oppression towards others.

So someone calls you a cracker... big ******* deal! Whites still get priority in jobs and in politics. FINALLY there are some people of color in power. But that does not excuse all those years of oppression. You're going to let some words affect you? It's not like they're making you slaves.

Does this make "racism" right? Of course not. However, I would like to point out that racism among whites is extremely rare and such attitudes are taboo. Whites do not tolerate people who think this way and haven't for quite some time. That cannot be said about blacks and hispanics. Hate speech and frank hate crimes are common in those populations. Go back and re-read the article. It's not whites going around committing racist hate crime. It's blacks doing so against whites, for the most part. To a lesser degree hispanics do the same and blacks and hispanics do the same to each other.

Chica. Racism is a problem in society. But, you are looking at the wrong group of people.

It is a graph that measures IQ across the general races. I think anyone who thinks that these standardized tests can capture the value or lack thereof of any race is pretty ignorant, and their opinion should be considered in that light. Many factors impact one's IQ score -- from what happened at home the day of the test, to environment, educational opportunities, etc. Regardless of the accuracy of the graph, I assert that NOTHING makes racism right - and it never will.

Eh, chill. Wikipedia isn't too reliable nowadays anyway. Statistics rarely "prove" anything, except that the maker is a retard. Even though African Americans are statisically less "intelligent," there have been countless contributions to society by blacks.
