The ashes won't burn the box, the incense will. I wouldn't take a chance on causing a fire or ruining your "purdy" box. Depending on the type of incense (stick or cone), use an appropriate, fire proof holder.

what form of incense is it? attempt to be careful because of the fact the extremely much cheap producers are made with stuff that is risky for adults and childrens and might set off hypersensitive reactions and respiration subjects. when you consider that i don't be attentive to what form of incense you have, i'm going to err on the side of warning and not burn something around a toddler that youthful.

Normally the ashes would burn completely down when it falls.........
But than again, would you want to take the chance?
Just put aluminum foil to catch the ashes. Simple enough?

Get some extra insurance on the house and find yourself the nearest and easiest way to get out, you may need it. Anytime you mess with fire you should take the strictest precautions possible and, make sure everything you use is safe.
