You can breastfeed in almost any position. Doctors actually recommend switching positions often because it helps your body to produce more milk and keeps your breasts from getting sore.

whatever is most comfortable for you, and of course the baby. as long as the baby is getting your milk, then any position will probably be fine. Maybe get used to sitting up so when your man is not there, you could do it yourself. Congrats !

You should hold the baby while breastfeeding. It is part of the bonding between mother and baby. If your husband is feeling left out, give him an activity that only he does such as bathing.

You can nurse in whatever position you are comfortable in. Sitting up with a cradle or football hold, laying down so both of you can rest, etc. Whatever seems to work well for you and baby.

it's going to be really hard to breastfeed if the guy is holding the child. you need to be holding the baby to ensure that the baby is in proper position so they get the best latch on.

it is really up to you
holding the baby up for long periods of time can really make your arms tired
so its sweet if he really wants to help but I'd get offended if he was just doing it to get himself a rise
