Well, here is a list of very inexpensive items that you can get for your girlfriend:
1. Laptop case/sleeve (prices vary depending on size of laptop)
2. Laptop chill mat (from targus the price is: $29.99)

4. A USB flash drive (To store data on it without taking up any space on the computer's hard drive)
5. An ipod Shuffle (around $55 - $67)

I don't own a mac but a few of my cousins do and they say that a must have accessory is the apple Airport Express.
