Creatine is not a steroid. Steroids contain horomones, which creatine doesn't have. What i've noticed with my experiences with it, it did gain me weight (about 20lbs in 2months), but from what i hear its mostly water weight. I've also noticed that it repairs my muscles faster then w/o it (not as sore next morning). It also felt i could do more reps of certain exercises (might just be a placibo effect, or something). But all in all if you are looking to gain weight, then go for it (if you don't have a liver condition)

I have no idea if it works, but anything that is steroid related, as this is, is dangerous. Is it really so important that you will take risks?

The first link below is a relaiabl source of information. It is the National Institutes of Health.
