Plan - my family is eating at great restaurant for Thanksgiving lunch followed by a movie. Shopping starts at 5am on Friday followed by Dolly-wood Amusement Park. Saturday is Tennessee Football game followed by a Turkey Dinner. Then Sunday is church & the drive home (6 hrs). We have tons of fun!

You should, if you live in New York, go to see the balloons blown up on the upper West Side. (I'm not sure of the exact location; you can look it up on the internet.) Then go and have a cup of tea or a snack at one of the cafes in the area. Go home, stay up late, and the next day watch the parade on TV with your friends. Get started ona project. Catch up on homework. Gte together with firends. Make some money by raking leaves, etc. GO for long walks. Meditate. The Possibilities are endless!!!!!!!!!

Get some of your friends together and go to a rescue mission to spend time, wash dishes, serve food, etc., or to a nursing home or long term care facility - there are lots of people in need, especially during the holiday time. Make some cards for these people. Or, go to the children's wing of your local hospital and read them stories, sing to them, do crafts etc., or if at home, help your parents out by cleaning for them, washing a car, windows, dusting, whatever, there are always plenty of things to do. So, get busy - the "boredom"thing is just an excuse to do nothing and doing nothing is unproductive. You'll feel better about yourself when you've helped someone else. :)

Since you don't give any specifics on what you normally do on Thanksgiving break, I suggest you do something that you wouldn't normally do. Go to a museum, the zoo, the aquarium. I hope this helps.

There are tons of movies that are out. Go see a movie or maybe go to the mall and get ahead on some Christmas shopping. You know stores will be swamped later.
