I have been on the depo shot for 2 years and have not had a period in that time. I recently got off of the shot due to excessive weight gain. I had to take a Plan B (emergency contraceptive) recently and since I have had a heavy whitish/yellowish discharge. Is there something wrong? I am married and do not have multiple partners, but, honestly I am unsure about my husband's faithfulness. Please help!

Plan A - Go to the doctor and be tested for STDs if you are honestly unsure about your husbands faithfulness. Hopefully its a yeast infection.

White is normal yellow may not be. You should go to the doctor and see. It may be regular old infection and not STD. Wait and see but the only way you will know is to go to the doctor and then when you have all the facts you can make an informed decision. I really hope that everything works out for you.

I think you should def go and see a doctor. They would be able to tell you better than anyone on here could. I was on depo for nearly the same amount of time but i didnt have that prob. Also i didnt have the emergency contraceptive also. Please see a doctor...

Get thee to the clinic, girl! White/yellowish discharge could be gonnorhea or chlamydia. Plan B doesn't cause that. Good luck!

I have experience with Plan B or depo, so all I can offer is talk to a doctor and good luck.

Sounds to me like your hormones are just out of whack! The discharge is probably all hormonal and nothing to worry about. You might consider confronting your husband, though! He shouldn't be cheatin on ya!

It could be nothing but to be sure see your Dr, discharge should be investigated especially if it appears different to normal discharge, smells or is associated with itchiness or rising temp. See your Dr put your mind to rest.

Call your gyno. If you have contracted an STD from your hubby, the sooner you treat it the better the outcome. Left untreated you could end up sterile or dead. Call the doc.

I would definently contact your doctor A.S.A.P.! There may be some kind of infection. Best of luck to you.
