My b-day is right after christmas, so i can have either a Wii or a PS3. Which one? (Please note: i am a PS fanboy)

I personally say wii. you have fun, play, AND get some excercise at the same time! However, I would wait until they have a newer wii version because the Innushuk controller drives some people crazy. it isn't right just yet. So go for PS3. At least PS is more experienced. After all, there is always another b-day to come!;), and you ARE a fan of PS.
However, if you are a fan of PS but like new stuff, Go for Wii!!

Eh, personally I'd recommend the wii. But if you wanna make some quick cash, buy the PS3 and sell it on ebay or something. I am just drawn to the wii's special controller setup, though the ps3 has better multimedia capabilities and graphics...

the wii is much better because a) its cheaper b) you are being active while playing and c) ps3 promised a whole bunch but there is a limited number of games
but if you really are a "PS fanboy" then you should get the ps3 dont get mad if you dont like my opinion

Well good luck on getting a PS3 cuz they are all sold out. but if it's up to you and money is not an issue definitely get the PS3, the graphics and capabilities are out of this world.
but the WII is cool too!

Wii is going to be so much better. It requires you to be active to play the games with the motion sensor controllers, as opposed to sitting on the couch like a zombie.
We're breeding a nation of Video Games Zombies, people! Wake up and do something productive!

if youre under 13 go for the wii for your short attention span. PS3 is more refined in that sense
