welcome them with a smile, treat them with respect, understand their problem, solve the problem if you have the answer or take them to a person who can answer their query, track until the query is solved.

When you see a customer, ask him/her if that customer needs help. If that customer just tell you that I am browsing then ask the customer is there anything specific you are looking for. Then the customer would answer your question. Next, try to find the size for that person. If you don't have that customer size, then look on the computer for other store locations then recommend the customer to go to the location if able.

Smile! And don't attack people as soon as they come in the store or your department. Say hi, then wait until they are actually looking at something, then go over and ask if there is anything you can help with. Remember to give customers their personal space, they will appreciate it.

Hi! Asking if they need assistance. Or if you get asked where an item is i always appreciate when someone actually shows me not just points or tells me what aisle.
If there's a long line, tell them ill be with you in just a moment and acknowledge them and apologize for the wait when they get to you and thank them for coming and invite them back. Small talk like hi, hows your day? shows that your really care about the customer. Always smile :) its contagious.

Say hello, do they need anything, help them if they do. But don't overload on the" Well have you seen our blah blah blah Sale, you get 10%off..." stuff, because people just don't want to hear it.Unless the people sound like they may be worried about a high price. Then give them all the finacial options they have.

Well, how do you like to be treated when you walk into a store? Sometimes people need to be told what they look good in or help them pick out a color ...... Lots of times, people aren't sure if they look OK in something - and if it doesn't look good - see if you can find something they would look better in. You also can help people with letting them know "what the style is".... lots of people just don't know.

ask ppl if they're finding wt they need or if they need any other type of assistance.

if there's a line to ring up items, tell them u will be w/them in a moment. when they get to the front of the line, apologize for the wait.

when they leave the store, thank them for coming in and invite them back in the future.

be nice to customers. Just don't over-service them. You may get frustrated.
