i need help on how to solve equations using decimals?

Same as you would without decimals...

Original equation:
2.3m = 32.2
Divide both sides by 2.3
m = 32.2 / 2.3
Simplify:
m = 14

If it helps you, multiply both sides by 10, 100, 1000 (whatever will remove the decimal), then solve as normal.

For example:
2.3m = 32.2

Multiply both sides by 10:
23m = 322
m = 322 / 23
m = 14

Another example:
w + 0.023 = 12.38
Multiply everything by 1000:
1000w + 23 = 12380
Now solve as usual.
1000w = 12380 - 23
1000w = 12357
w = 12357 / 1000
w = 12.357
