No sorry. There is no question that Real Madrid have had some incredible teams, probably the best ever in Europe. BUT the current side, although good, is not on a par with those of the past.. E.g. we have just been mourning the death of Ferenc Puskas, now that team. Well enough said, no comparison…..

Look at their roster. Players aren't everything. Teamwork is. Real doesn't have good team chemistry. Still people think they're the best. Not the best team in the world and wins and losses can't prove it.

They WERE the best club in the world, because they won the first five European Cups (now Champions' League) and have won a total of nine. But in recent seasons they haven't been at their best form. In fact they have now gone three seasons without a trophy.
