how bad does it hurt to have a bikini wax? Do you go in naked? Is it okay to scream or do the aesthiticians (sp) prefer you to remain quite?

Everyone is different on how much it hurts. If you are doing a straight bikini wax, you might be asked to put on a paper bikini bottom, if its a brazilian you are naked. Also at one point you'll be asked to get on all fours. Its okay to make noise. Just warn your waxer that you've never had one before and they will fill you in on the expectations. I'm sure they are better versed on what to expect than anyone else.

It hurts....I have been the waxer and the waxee. For me it hurts :BAD!! But the more you do it..your skin starts to toughen up...depending on the wax they use it can help the regrowth as well. A product caled nufree nudesse(sp) actually deadens the hair shaft over time so you will have less regrowth.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

it is really up to your tolerance for pain. No you dont have to get naked....
