Where can I find a good prom dress?

Question

I need a prom dress for my senior prom... I would like one that is decent (covers me and comes to my knees or below). I don't wear orange, yellow, green, or purple well. I prefer reds, pinks, blues, white, and black. I need something that is under $100, because my family is short on money (due to house repairs and upcoming college expenses). Are there any online stores or stores around Virginia that carry pretty and inexpensive prom dresses?

I would check out bridal stores in your area, sometimes they have bridesmaid dresses that are beautiful at a discounted rate because someone ordered them and then returned them. I would also check out any outlet stores your area might have. Anything online has potential but you have to consider the cost of shipping with the total, so make sure you add everything up. Look on the net on eBay as well as i don't know about there here in aus we have the salvos ( second hand shops) you might think you wont find a good dress in one of those stores but you be surprised what people get rid of there is also factory seconds there too where the only thing wrong with it is you need to do some alterations.

I would check ebay I just bought a flower girl dress for my daughter and paid $25 plus $15 for rush shipping it was here in 2 days and was absolutely beautiful we recieved so many comliments on it.

Make sure to check the seller and that they have positive feedback and that they are reputable. Make sure to read the payment and shipping instructions carefully.

I am not sure about what's in the VA area but if you want to look on line try Macy's at macys.com. They have a great selection of clothing. If you want a bigger choice type in dresses in the search box of your home page and get a list of store with cool dresses.The shipping will cost so be prepared.

i'm uncertain what ones are in trend yet out of your discern description i might propose skater dresses or comparable, I easily have hips and a tummy and that i detect that peplum dresses do no longer compliment my shape

I would suggest Ebay and places like Dillards and Nordstroms that have areas exclusively for evening wear.

try checking at second hand store,they have real nice things and aren't really expensive.
