Your statement could be contested by saying that God did not create evolution as a natural process, but that he consciously and directly interferes in material existance to change creatures over time. This version of events maintains God's involvement in the world of mortals, and supports the idea of a grand purpose to His design. Your suggestion, meanwhile, can be seen to suggest that God is either lazy or incapable of suitably ensuring the universe turns out how He wants, which then becomes blasphemous.

If it were a statement of "fact" then it would be considered disingenuous to disagree. However, it is nothing more then a statement of belief which is open to critical review when presented in a public forum. As the statement lacks "legs" it can be said that "this dog can't walk". Without empirical evidence in support of a claim blasphemy cannot occur because any argument to the contrary is just a valid.

Blasphemy is a matter of religious interpretation. Your statement may be a honest statement of your faith, but there are those who ignore Creation and place the literal reading of the Bible over fact. They would argue it is blasphemy, but they're not worth listening to.

Since nobody can say with any certainty what god's intentions are, how god works, or even if he/she/it/they exist, then asking whether something is blasphemy or not is a moot question. It all depends on one's specific theology; one person's blasphemy is another's doctrine.

"Man is a Religious Animal. He is the only Religious Animal. He is the only animal that has the True Religion -- several of them. He is the only animal that loves his neighbor as himself and cuts his throat if his theology isn't straight." -- Mark Twain
