No, we were hated before him and we will still be hated after him. Love or hate of the world toward America is less about politics and more about our way of life. We're too prosperous, which causes envy of the rest of the world.

Poor GW Bush, he takes such a bad rap, however well earned.

Many countries or cultures fear the principles on which the United States was founded. Its to their benefit too. As many of them are based upon the repression of religion, the repression of women, the repression of truths not found to be agreeable to their leaders. Many of these countries only allow limited Internet connectivity, while others allow none at all.

At least in the United States, a person can stand in front of the White House and scream any thing they want - just don't yell "assassination".

The United States and other countries that support the rights of the individual to pursue happiness and freedom of speech are a threat to other nations or cultures that support the opposite.

It would be interesting to fast forward a hundred years into the future for about 10 minutes to see what happens.

GW has the unique talent of infuriating the world populace, including those he needs as allies. His unilateral foreign policy, warts and all, has only seemed to slow down in the wake of a Democratic takeover of the House of Representatives. I'm not a Democrat but I don't support the Iraq Occupation and feel it has given many America-haters a shot in the arm. Cowboys need to stay in the movies, not the Oval office!!

Bush is only a factor in the way the world sees us.
As a Christian nation we have always done what God wants us to do. Keep watch over Israel. They are according to the BIBLE AND HISTORY
and ARCHEOLOGY, the Hebrew nation of Israel are the chosen people, of, OUR GOD! We have always supported them and always will. This leaves us open to the world of hate and jealousy.
Many religions hate America just for that reason.
Question this....What other religion can prove their existence the way we can. Even in this country though we have many religions that have no proof of anything to support their claims of existence. That is why, not all that are religious. are Christians.

I can be religious to my TV if I watch it faithfully at all times. That however doesn't make me a Christian. Bush is a very small part of the overall big picture.

It's all relative.

Bush has made some bad decisions, and poor policies, but there are worse leaders out there.

Kim Jong-Il, Ahmadinjad, Mugabe. Compared to these, Bush suddenly looks moderate.

I speak from a personal British perspective.

I think they already do. And I'm totally sad about that, even though I am an American. George has made some bad choices, and I think the next president is going tohave so much problems with our Debt because of George. Why can't everyone just settle down, and stop all the fighting?

Absolutely! He has bullied his way around the world, ignored the rules of the internationally-respected Geneva Convention, disregarded the laws of his own country's Constitution, and put himself above the law. The Bush administration has terrorized the entire world for no justifiable reason.
He, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and all 535 members of the most evil, arrogant, incompetent, incorrigible, contemptible, cowardly, corrupt U.S. Congress is history, should all be tried for high crimes against humanity in an international tribunal, and - if convicted - should hang right alongside Hussein. -RKO-

yes. After 911 the whole world was behind us. Then chimpy boy had to get on his high horse. When other countries look at us on tv they look at us like we are held hostage by our curupt Administration. The other countries that already hate us, well we are just adding fuel to the fire.
