Hello, you should check out the makeup lines that are specifically intended for women of color. For example Color Me Beautiful and Iman. I'm white but even I love Iman's sparkly lip glosses and her line is reasonably priced. Good Luck and remember less is more!

Well dont use light colors
Dark brown eyeliner foundation should be closest to you skine tone definetly and
Color eye shadow like dark purple, gold, greys,,browns, bronzes
Stick with earth tone colors
And you could always ask a friend that wears make-up maybe they can help you out and experiment with you

omg your so lucky. if you have dark skin you can do alot with makeup, that would look stupid on light- skinned people. I recomend for foundation Covergirl Trublend Liquid Foundation. For eyes you can use any color you want, gold looks really good. you can also consult teh peolpe at the department store counters(though you dont have to buy their expensive brand, just look for similar types at the drugstore, i always do that.lol). Also look in magazines, they can be really helpful sometimes.

OooOh! I love dark complexions. Mac makes great makeup for all complexions because their makeup has high pigments. I love peacock greens and golds for eye shadows - good for special occasions. Extremely sheer whites/creams, pastel colors in general with black eye liner and mascara for the day. Lipstick is a little bit more difficult because it really depends on the season but always light colors in the day and deeper in the evening.

I don't really like foundations because most of them create a caked on look that isn't very appealing. Try to stick to concealer under your brow bones, eyes, in the sides of your nose, and under your bottom lip. This will create contouring without looking like a mime. Try only a light dusting of powder or bronzer over your t-zone to keep your complexion dewey. (Forehead, nose and chin).

But experiment with makeup. The more you play with it the easier it will be to find out what looks good on your face.

Some of my darker skinned friends always use Covergirl because of their selection. Covergirl has a lot of makeup, and if you aren't sure what to do, or what may fit you best, you can take their online test and they'll even send you a free sample of whatever. And even without makeup, I'm sure you're a beautiful girl that may not even need any!

im 13 this works for me and it may for you and i have choco colored skin first u have know what ur best facial features are if you have pretty round eyes u should use clear mascara and take the pencil eyeliner and outline only the top of your lashes if you have some facial blemishes use concealer to match your skin tone and then take a lip pencil that almost matches ur natrual lip color and outline and add lip gloss

LOL. that girl who said put on gold lipstick and pink eyeshadow. dont do it! that will look horrible. i have the same skin tone as you and I like to use deep purple eyeshadow. it shows up on our skin and it looks really beautiful. with the lips, I like to use dark colors---but no pink or red. i dont recommend foundation because it clogs your pores; unless you have acne. at sephora, they have a thing where they can match your skin tone perfectly! it's really chill. hope this helps (:

Well first things first!!!! Becoming a women does not mean you have to wear make up!!! But anyways!! I personally think that you should not wear cover up till you have to it is only going to make your skin look old when your young. But go to your local mall and get your make up done but like Mac or Clinic or something like that.. Also tell them the reason why your getting your make up done so they can walk you throught it. And personally I would tell them you want to look natural....... Sometimes they tend to go over board!!! Good luck sweetie!!!
