Alot of them it cost their lives, i mean imagine how many natives there might have been if it wasn't invaded and they where not killed. One thing i do know is America would not be like it is today so there are advantages. I mean On the coastal areas america is one of the most advanced countries, in the centre there is a lot of poverty. But there where great native warriors like Crazy horse and Geronimo, if you ever get the chance to read about those you should do so especially crazy horse who defeated General Custer.

Initially, quite a bit. After the uprising called Pontiac's War, the British lands west of the Appalachians off-limits for settling. However, since thismove and many others infuriated the colonists, --eventually leading to the American Revolution--this ultimately proved disastrous for the Indians since now settlers could go west unfettered. When Natives resisted, the cavalry came and crushed any resistance.

They were the only real losers (no offense meant to such admirable peoples, seriously). No matter on which side they fought, they lost many men in battle, their villages were destroyed and it is a well-know fact that both the English and the French transmitted European diseases to them through merchandise (blankets, clothing, etc). Along with that, take a look to their present situation: they were pushed into "Reservations" and many of them displaced from tha lands they inhabited for generations. Hope to be of use. There's a lot of info on the web and there are a lot great books about it. Bonne chance!
