Probably not. One of their big promises is raising the minimum wage. I realize it seems important on the surface, but in reality it will hurt only smaller businesses, start a stagnation on unemployment or make unemployment worse (It is currently at its lowest in 30 years). Additionally, they have no plan for the war in Iraq, they just wanted to use it to get elected and springboard Hillary into the Oval office. That being said, the Republicans asked for this loss by not cleaning up Congress, expanding the size of the government, and insane pork barrell projects like that 260 million dollar bridge in Alaska that would benefit less than 1% of Alaskans.

If they learn from the mistakes but build on the strengths of the last administration, the opportunity is surely there. Historically the current ruling party of congress has thrown the baby out with the bathwater and unfortunately are too political to recognize it.

No; in fact they will do a far WORSE JOB, but as long as the Demopublican/Republocrat lemmings are happy, I suppose all will be peaceful.
Prepare yourselves for a depression that will make the '30's look like a cakewalk.

No it will be same story, in fact, things could get worse since if politics continue to be the priority over resolving key issues facing this country.

Nope, Not at all! They'll just keep right on spending our money arguing about stuff insted of getting anyting done. That is, if you can get them to show up for work in the first place.

I can't see them getting anything done. When the democrats took both houses the first thing I said was, "Eh, whatever. Nothing is going to change." I doubt think anything is going to change with Iraq....or anything else for that matter. If they do, congrats to them. Proved me wrong.

I think congress will continue to screw Americans - both democrats & republicans. Our only hope is some middle-eastern person will get in & "do their thing"
