what net worth a person must have for you to consider him/her to be rich? 1 mill ? 10 mill? 15 mill? or above?
personally i dont consider a person with 1 million to me rich .... coz of high living costs that are rising each day..... what about u?
I mean if i look at my home / income/ and savings / and real state values .. most probably most of us have a net worth of 1 million .. or slightly less!!!!

i know my family has a net worth of more than 1 million... i think what makes someone rich is being on the forbes riches list, which means having at least a billion dollars.

I used to think one million was rich. But considering that the top 10 and 20 rich people in the world have over $1 Billion I realized that $1 million only makes you upper middle class.

Their is personal spiritual richness and then there's society's idea of rich. If you're asking about society's consideration of rich my answer would be if you made above and beyond what is needed to manage your day to day / monthly / yearly expenses. Having above and beyond what is needed to manage your lifestyle to the point where you can have items such as boats, fancier cars, trips, clothes, stuff...stuff...stuff...the 'toys'. A person in a middle class suburb might be seen as 'rich' by another that has lesser, a person in 'upper crust' society might have more than their neighbor and so it goes. But once those 'toys' are tucked away...how does that person feel within themselves and their relationship and heart value of those in their lives...that's the true richness. Richness and wealth are two separate things.

Well, if you are talking about globally, I would say for a family of four 15k a year is wealthy, 30k a year is rich. In our country, I would say 200k is very comfortable, 500k is wealthy(annual income) and if you are making over a 2 mil a year you are rich. If you are making over 8 million a year you should be donating it because you are in the top .001 percent in the world!

Depends on the size of the family, etc. A single man working as a doctor I would consider rich. A man with three kids and a stay-at-home wife I would not consider rich.
However, I don't think that this is a black-and-white situation. There are borderline rich people.
