In the book Gimli (the dwarf) wins by 1. If I recall correctly the count was around 40.

Gimli killed 43 and Legolas killed 42. the counts were done at the Battle of Helms Deep and not throughout all 3 books.

it was a tie.... don't know the number right off hand.... but I remember the scene where 'legolas" sees a "orc" moving at "gimli's" feet and he shoots it with an arrow.... declaring himself the winner. gimli replies " of course he's twitching.... I have my axe buried in his vervous system" moving his axe causing the orc's arms and legs to move.

I think it was Gimli,as he told Legolas,the elephant only counted as one.

the scores were lost but the elf definitely won that one he got the elephont with all those guys on it !!

I think that it was Legolas as he had a long range weapon , I've no idea on the scores though......

i think the dwarf won by a head or was it a foot no it was by a nose. yup board.
