If people in your family seem to all have grown really fast and gotten really tall, tallness could be a dominant gene in your family. Perhaps both of your parents had the recessive short gene that was overpowered by the dominant gene making them tall. However, they both could have passed on the recessive gene to you, and therefore making you short.

you are NOT a slow grower. it is justy hormones. some are faster then others. I know a girl, that was like only 4ft. and now she if 6.8! trust me, you will probably end up being really tall!

How old are you? I wouldn't worry about height if you're a girl. I'm only 5'4" and I feel like there are many benefits to being my size as a female.
Depending on your age, you'll probably keep growing. (you sound young)

We all grow at different rates. I and my brother had short parents and we are both over six feet. We got our height from our grandfather who was tall.

you are fine. if you have tall parents, it doesn't necessarily mean you are going to be tall too, but you will probably hit a growth spurt, because you are young.
