We started a new tradition last year: We go to Vegas! That way we can meet up with my brother and his family. It was a lot of fun for all of us. We saw the Conservatory at the Bellagio. My brothers, sister-in-law and I went downtown to gamble. My mom, niece and nephew and I played at Gameworks.

We changed ours 2 years ago to make it more meaningful for our oldest daughter's family. All families gather at her house. My husband & I arrive the day before Thanksgiving & we all eat at a great resturant (Calhouns) then a movie suitable for 3-8 ys olds - this yr "Happy Feet". That night our youngest & her family arrive ( we all live 6 hrs away). On "Black Friday" the men start with lists from wives at 3-4 am & the wives join them for fun shopping between 9-10am. That night we go to Dollywood for Festival of Lights 3 million lights in parade. Saturday is Tennessee Football Game & then a traditional Turkey dinner. We have alot of fun in a short time!

Traditionally, having a diner with family, relatives and closest friends... and turkey would be the main dish.
