I was raised in San Diego and I do not recall any accents other than everyone there is mellow and relaxed. Not quite to the typical surfer stand point but almost. I sometimes revert back to it now and then. SoCal is my home even though I am now on the east coast. I miss the smell of Eucalyptus trees and the ocean... Damn forest!! I miss the sand....

Actually most people up and down the west coast sound the same when they talk. There are words and phrases that are unique to areas but for the most part, someone in San Diego will sound like someone in Portland.
